UTRECHT, 3 July 2008 – After serving as Chairman of the Group Management Board of Strukton Groep NV for more than ten years, Mr Gerrit A. Witzel is ready to face a new challenge.

In mutual consultation with the Supervisory Board, he plans to step down with effect from 1 August.

Mr C.A. de Ruyter will act as delegated supervisory director until a successor has been appointed.

We would like to thank Mr Witzel for his significant contribution to the development of Strukton in the past period, and we are proud of the prominent position the company has secured in the market under his leadership.
