Strukton launches new recruitment site

UTRECHT, 27 March 2009 – Strukton’s new website focusing entirely on the job market went live on 27 March 2009. The site aims to increase Strukton’s visibility as an employer and more quickly fill the available vacancies.

The new www.werkenbijstrukton.nl recruitment website enables visitors to view all the available vacancies at Strukton. In contrast to previous sites where the vacancies were listed separately on the websites of the respective operating companies, the new site is now far easier to navigate. The vacancies listed on www.werkenbijstrukton.nl can easily be sorted by training level, region and area of expertise. The site also provides detailed information about the company, its corporate culture and its current projects.

Because the employees themselves are the best people to ask about what it’s like to work for Strukton, several testimonials have been included. Take Ron Swinkels, service technician at Strukton Worksphere, for example: “Faults, especially being able to sort them out properly first time round – that’s what I like the most. For our customer it’s understandably ‘Strukton sorted it out’, but when I walk out the door, I’m the one who feels satisfied.”

Despite the recession, Strukton still has around 170 vacancies at the moment. The figure at the end of 2008 was 260. This decrease stems primarily from Strukton Worksphere’s takeover of 110 Dalkia employees in February 2009. The current vacancies are mainly for mechanical engineering service technicians, mechanical engineering project planners, management technicians and various electrical system technicians.

The website was designed by Capelle aan den IJssel-based job market communications agency Maximum.

Strukton is active in the field of infrastructure and accommodation solutions. As an operational partner, Strukton supervises the entire chain, from draft design to implementation phase. Pooling the five operating companies’ specific knowledge and experience, enables end users to travel easily and live, work, study and relax in comfortable accommodation.
