For HSAHR vof, and in cooperation with Heijmans IBC Bouw Leiderdorp bv, Strukton Bouw (construction & property) realised the structural works for the new Harnaschpolder sewage treatment complex in Den Hoorn (next to the A4 motorway – Den Haag Zuid).
In compliance with the latest European legislation, this complex provides sufficient capacity for a total of 1.3 million people and is therefore the largest of its kind in Europe.
Bouw realised an administration office here, constituting the central office on the premises housing a laboratory and a workshop.
Special requirements included the high level of structural finishing required in relation to safety, maintenance, aesthetics and various mechanical and electrical processes.
HS-bouw was involved as a subcontractor in relation to the quality assurance required specifically for PPP projects, where a construction team created the administration office.
