In January 2007, Strukton Bouw & Vastgoed (construction & property) began renovating the Ministry of Finance in The Hague. This renovation represents the first project for government office buildings in the Netherlands arising from a public private partnership (PPP).
The project covers the design, renovation, financing and re-fitting out of the Ministry of Finance in The Hague (66,000 m2), including the management and maintenance of the building for a period of 25 years.
The Ministry of Finance will be able to accommodate 1,750 civil servants.
