Jointly with the Government Buildings Agency, the Ministry of Finance has designated the renovation of the Ministry of Finance buildings in The Hague as the second pilot project (following the Montaigne college) for future contracts for publicly-owned buildings.
Safire B.V., a consortium involving Strukton, Burgers Ergon, GTI, ISS Facility Services and an investment fund of ABN AMRO and Dutch Infrastructure fund is responsible for the realisation of this project. The re-construction and renovation of the Ministry of Finance started early in 2007. On the 12th of march 2009, the renovated premises has been inaugurated.
