Sources of increase
One of the sources of the increase is Strukton Civiel’s trend of managing more international projects – such as the tunnel in Ireland and the tunnel in South Korea. For these projects, travel by plane is unavoidable. Strukton also has more projects in the far corners of The Netherlands, for instance the ‘Groene Loper’ (‘Green carpet’) project in Maastricht and the PPP project Housing Education Executive Agency and Regional Tax Office in Groningen. These result in more kilometres driven.
