Civil infrastructure

Strukton focuses on large infrastructure projects. These complex projects demand technical innovation and resourceful ideas. Strukton has also built up a global reputation in its specialist fields, such as immersion technology, foundation technologies and bitumen.

Strukton Civiel considers it only natural that the commercial operation should continue uninterrupted while a project is being executed. Thus intersections are extended while the traffic rushes past. The secret to this successful combination is the detailed plans that form the basis for the project. We leave nothing to chance in our schedules. And safety is always given top priority.
In Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, Strukton is working on the biggest metro project in the world. Strukton’s contribution concerns the design and construction of three of the six metro lines with a total of 64.6 kilometres of track and 25 stations.

Specialist fields

Strukton’s high-quality specialist knowledge is in great demand all over the world. One particular niche market involves the construction of immersion tunnels, such as the 3.2 kilometre long tunnel we built on the ocean floor near South Korea.

Specialist areas

  • Innovative contract types such as PPP and DBFMO
  • Complex projects
  • Resurfacing
  • Immersion technologies
  • Specialist foundation technologies
