Strukton Immersion Projects starts work in Monaco Harbor

This week OTN has installed their diving equipment on the quay side of the Quay Rainier III in Monaco. In the coming period a 84 m2 underwater concrete layer will be removed by the divers as preparation for the installation of the Inflatable Barrier.

This week OTN has installed their  diving equipment  on the quay side of the Quay Rainier III in Monaco.  In the coming period a 84 m2 underwater concrete layer will be removed by the divers as preparation for the installation of the Inflatable Barrier. The removal and construction of a new underwater concrete layer shall be finished before the star of the Grand Prix.

The steel U structure together with the rubber sealing will be constructed where a dry fitting test is scheduled in June of this year. After transportation of the construction to Monaco the installation of the inflatable Barrier will take place in July 2016.

Strukton Immersion Project will hand over a the dry working area to its Joint Venture Partner the French NFM on the 1st of August in order for them to start with the maintenance work on the ball joint of the floating Jetty.
