Inclination measurement: early warning in the event of horizontal earth dislocation

While realising construction pits, banks or excavations, horizontal shifts of the soil that cause damage to buildings and structures may occur. We conduct inclination measurements to map any horizontal soil shifts. These measure any movements of the construction pit wall or soil and can be used as early warning for possible deformation of nearby buildings.

Inclination measurements: manual or automatic?

Inclination measurements provide detailed information about horizontal shifts in the subsoil. The measurements are carried out in vertical measurement tubes to a depth of 50 metres. Inclination measurements can be executed manually as well as automatically. An automatic measuring system is advisable for high-risk construction activities, enabling horizontal shifts to be measured continually.
